Brunswick Exploration Inc. (TSX-V: BRW, OTCQB: BRWXF) has announced promising assay results from its winter drilling campaign at the Mirage Project, situated in the Eeyou Istchee-James Bay region of Quebec. Mr. Killian Charles, the CEO of Brunswick Exploration, revealed that the company drilled thirty-five additional holes during the campaign, focusing primarily on the Central Zone. The Mirage Project, located approximately 40 kilometers south of the Trans-Taiga Road, continues to yield wide, well-mineralized intervals, particularly in the MR-6 dyke and its surroundings.
One of the significant findings of the winter campaign includes a remarkable intercept of 58.1 meters at 1.59% Li2O, starting from the surface in drill hole MR-23-49. This result extends the MR-6 dyke a further 80 meters to the south, indicating its openness in all directions. Moreover, evidence of substantial dyke stacking was observed, with an intercept of 31.6 meters at 1.71% Li2O, including 14.0 meters at 2.32% Li2O in drill hole MR-23-60, located 300 meters east from MR-6.

Other notable intercepts include 18.4 meters at 1.03% Li2O and 12 meters at 0.93% Li2O in drill hole MR-24-60. This hole intercepted four major dykes, all of which remain open in every direction. A total of 35 drill holes were completed during the winter, prioritizing near-surface mineralization, with assays pending for a further 32 drill holes.
Mr. Killian Charles, President and CEO of BRW, expressed his satisfaction with the results, stating, “The winter drilling reaffirms once more Mirage’s position as one of the most exciting lithium discoveries in Quebec.” He highlighted the significance of the MR-6 dyke as a highly prospective exploration target with substantial potential due to its openness in all directions. Charles also announced plans for a summer drilling campaign at Mirage, anticipating further milestones for Brunswick Exploration shareholders.
The Mirage Project encompasses 427 claims in Quebec’s James Bay region, approximately 34 kilometers northeast of Winsome Resources’ Adina Project. A spodumene-bearing pegmatite boulder field extending over 3.0 kilometers and numerous well-mineralized pegmatite outcrops along a 2.5 kilometers-long trend characterize the project. Both the boulder field and outcrops remain open in all directions.
The Central Zone of the Mirage Project, situated on a synformal fold hinge axis, has yielded multiple wide, high-grade pegmatite dykes, notably MR-3 and MR-6. The MR-6 dyke, in particular, has shown significant potential, with thicknesses varying between 75% and 95%, and remaining open to the southwest. The MR-3 dyke, located southeast of MR-6, demonstrates apparent thicknesses of up to 50.6 meters at 1.06% Li2O.

New discoveries in MR-24-60 have extended the potential of the Central Zone, indicating promising mineralization another 300 meters to the northeast of MR-6. Additionally, the North Zone, located on the north limb of the folding, has shown bonanza-grade intervals, such as 24.5 meters at 2.18% Li2O and 25.8 meters at 2.57% Li2O.
Quality control measures were rigorously followed throughout the drilling and sampling processes. All drill core samples were collected under the supervision of BRW personnel, transported to a core logging facility, and then split and sampled. Samples were analyzed by ALS using ICP-AES, and all results passed the QA/QC screening at the lab.
The successful winter drilling campaign at the Mirage Project underscores Brunswick Exploration’s commitment to advancing lithium exploration in Quebec, with the company poised for further exploration and development in the upcoming summer campaign.
